Guest high school seniors for the week were Juliana Hinds, Olivia Fojt, and Illana Garcia.
On Thursday, June 20th Karen Barber invited Callie Ratley and Lauren Petras from the Spoetzl Brewery to bring us up to date on the current happenings at the brewery.
A fixture in Shiner for over 100 years, the brewery is now open seven days a week. They have added a BBQ restaurant and distillery, have expanded their visiting hours and tour times, and are offering live music at their events and festivals throughout the year. For more on their hours and events check out their website at https://shiner.com/
Rotarians also enjoyed a few favors from Callie and Lauren and were given a tour of the Bock truck. Pictured with the truck from left to right are Callie, Lauren, and Karen.

We are proud of our high school students!Through their hard work and dedication, these young individuals were able to provide 10,152 meals that will be sent across the globe. The Yoakum Interact students fundraised all school year to be able to host the a Rise Against Hunger packaging event. This morning they partnered with the Yoakum High School Student Council and the Yoakum Rotary Club to complete their project and package the meals.
