Five years ago, Yoakum High School graduates, Keith and Susie Kaiser, created a
vocational scholarship in honor of Keith’s Mom and Dad, Gladys and Sydney Kaiser.
Keith and Susie were born and raised in Yoakum and following a successful career
and raising their family in the State of Washington, they wanted to give back to
the community that gave them so much. Since its inception, the Sydney and Gladys
Kaiser Vocational Scholarship has awarded over $125,000 to vocational students
in pursuit of higher education.
