Holiday Fun
Yoakum Rotarians celebrated a great club year on Thursday evening at the Catholic Family Center. Dinner and fellowship were highlighted by the induction of the newest club member, Mary Jo Leahy, wife of President Larry Leahy. Members and guests were honored to have Past District Governor, Rich Kaye, from Austin to present additional Paul Harris awards to Lt. Governor and Yoakum Rotarian, Bill Lopez and to past club presidents Shirley Sommer, Alan Sommer; Karen Barber and Past President, Charles Havlik. To the delight of all, the evening included an ugly sweater contest. Taking the prize was Past President, Russell Gobel.
Members were reminded that the last noon meeting of the year will be December 17.
