On Saturday, 5 February 2022, the Rotary Clubs of Yoakum, Hallettsville, Shiner, and Flatonia co-sponsored a global service project, Rise Against Hunger, at the Flatonia Civic Center. We packaged more than 10,000 meals to feed the hungry. Our Rotary theme for this year, “Serves to Change Lives”, is very fitting for this impactful service event.
